About Us
Hello

I Care, a non-profit rural development community based organization, is directly funding and managing all the agriculture programs of The William Addo Davies Bompehtoke Rural Development Foundation operating in Bompehtoke town in order to help increase food supplies in Sierra Leone (SL), and also directly funding and directly implementing other rural development programs to create easy access to child continuing education, increase easy access to quality healthcare and reduce poverty by creating economic opportunities for the population in other rural areas in SL. We are achieving these goals by funding agricultural projects, child education, women empowerment and healthcare projects in order to address food insecurities, improve access to child education and quality healthcare, and eradicate persistent poverty in SL at the outset and Africa as a whole, one village at a time, with a focus on a grassroots approach to sustainable development. Sierra Leone and Africa as a whole will be a better place when we end food shortages, improve livelihoods, provide easy access to continuing education for all, end gender disparities, improve healthcare accessibility, improve rural infrastructure, and foster climate solutions. Join us today to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Mission Statement: I Care’s mission is to empower the Grafton and Bompehtoke communities as well as the surrounding villages so they can achieve self-sufficiency and a higher quality of life through the path of sustainable economic growth, food security, improved access to education and healthcare, with a strong focus on equitable and inclusive development that honors community values and environmental health.
